What are Printful’s production times like?
Production time is the time it takes Printful to prepare an order for shipping after it’s been received. This includes printing or embroidering the product, quality checks, and packing.
Most Printful products are produced within 2–5 business days. Once production is complete, the order is shipped to the customer.
What can affect production time
Production times may vary depending on:
The product type (for example, apparel, accessories, or home & living items)
The printing method used (DTG, embroidery, etc.)
Order volume, especially during peak seasons
Product availability
Order complexity, such as multiple print placements or customization options
Peak seasons and delays
During busy periods—such as holidays or large sales events—production times may be longer than usual. If delays occur, Printful updates estimated fulfillment times so you can plan and communicate with customers accordingly.

Production time vs. shipping time
Production time does not include shipping. Shipping time depends on the shipping method selected, the destination, and the carrier.
