Why doesn’t my order show up in Printful?
If you've received an order on your sales channel but don’t see it in your Printful dashboard, this article covers the most common reasons and how to resolve them. Follow the steps below to find out why your order may not be importing as expected.
Expected order sync timeframe
The time it takes for an order to appear in Printful depends on your connected sales channel. In some cases, you may simply need to wait a bit longer for the order to sync.
- Shopify: May take up to 24 hours to sync orders.
- Etsy: Printful syncs Etsy orders dynamically based on your store’s activity. Stores with frequent sales sync more often, while less active stores may sync less frequently. If your store has been inactive for a while, you may need to manually trigger a sync. Learn how to do that here.
Required order status for import
Check your order's status in your store to ensure it matches the ones listed below. If your store platform allows it, you can try manually changing the order status to import it.
Order statuses that will import to Printful:
- Shopify: Paid/Partially paid
- Etsy: Paid
Orders containing unsynced products
All orders that you receive in your store should show up in your Printful account. Orders with products that are not linked to Printful will show up in your Other orders tab and can be manually imported. Make sure to click on the Other orders tab to check if the missing order is there.
Integration-specific troubleshooting
- Etsy: Your Etsy store connection will expire if you’ve changed your Etsy account password. To re-establish your store connection to Printful, click Reconnect, and you’ll be directed to log in to your Etsy account. Any previously published products won’t be affected in any way.
