How can I create realistic mockups for my designs?
In the mockup preview, the colors of your design may appear different from those in edit mode, depending on the settings you choose. This discrepancy can happen because mockups are adjusted to reflect how the design might appear once printed.
When in preview mode, you can view mockups in two color modes:
- RGB offers brighter and more vibrant colors and is the default in the Design Maker.
- CMYK provides more realistic colors, closer to what the design might look like when printed.
You can easily switch between both color modes in the Design Maker by selecting your preferred option in the Mockup color mode section.
Note
In most cases, the differences between color modes are not very significant. They become more noticeable when a design features very vibrant colors that our printing process may not be able to reproduce.
When you choose a setting in the Mockup color mode section, you will also be selecting the color mode in which the mockups will be uploaded to your sales channel. Please keep in mind that if you decide to upload a mockup in RGB to your sales channel, the actual printed design might not look as vibrant.
Note
The uploaded design file will not be changed at this stage.
