How can I update the shipping rates of my products in Etsy?

Periodically, the shipping rates for Printful products may change, requiring adjustments to the shipping rates applied in Etsy to align with the updated rates. The specific actions needed will depend on your chosen Etsy shipping setup.

If you’re using the built-in Printful shipping rates (default option)

All you need to do is assign a new shipping profile to the product for which shipping costs were changed and republish it. 

1. Navigate to the My Products section in Printful and click on the product card.
2. Click Edit under Assign shipping profile and select the “Automatically assign and update profile” option from the drop-down menu.
3. Click Publish to sync the changes with your store.

If you made any changes to your products from the Etsy side, make sure that only the Shipping profile box is checked when updating the shipping rates. That way you will not overwrite the other product details.

We'll assign the correct Printful shipping profile to the product (e.g., “Standard: Printful – T-Shirts”), and update the rates if needed. That means if you have other listings assigned to this profile, the rates will be updated for them as well.

If you have custom shipping rates set up with Etsy

1. Navigate to your Shop Manager in Etsy and choose Listings.
2. Choose the product that you want to edit and click on the gear icon → Edit.
3. Scroll down to the shipping section of the listing and click Edit next to the current shipping profile of the product.
4. Make the necessary changes and click Save profile, followed by Publish.
